Ice Fishing information

Upstate NY offers premier ice fishing opportunities for several months each winter. While the task of locating and catching fish through the ice can be difficult, to say the least, let us give you the best opportunity to experience it first hand. Whether you wish to relax in the comfort of a heated shelter and wait for a tipup flag or you want to learn how to jig for fish using modern electronics we can help you enjoy the experience. Fish can be finicky all times of the year and this is especially true when fishing the “Hardwater” but the challenge of trying to pull your dinner from a frozen lake can also be an unforgettable experience for the whole family. One that might just send you home with some top notch table fare!

Rates 2023-2024 Season

Half Day 

1-3 People, up to 4 hours. Any combination of jigging  with electronics and/or tipups. Bait Included*

Full Day 

1-3 People, up to 8 hours. Any combination of jigging with electronics and/or tip-ups. Light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments provided. Bait Included*

Additional Guests (5 max)

Parties greater than 3, please arrange ahead of time to ensure adequate equipment and shelters, if necessary, are available.

+$25 per person (Half day)
+$40 per person (Full day)

“Run-N-Gun”

If waiting for a tip-up flag isn’t your thing and you would prefer to stay on the move and chase the fish using a jig rod and an electronic fish finder (Use our equipment or bring your own). Instruction provided for 1-3 people.

*Large Pike Bait

If specifically targeting large Pike with “suckers” or other XL bait. Please contact ahead of time to verify availability and pricing.

*Adirondack Lakes and Onieda

Adirondack destinations  (IE Schroon, Indian, Piseco, Champlain, Tupper) and Onieda Lake, generally require a full day booking. If you wish to fish these areas for only a half day please consider the additional time and cost of the commute.
